Funimation also acquired the rights to simulcast the relaunched anime episodes. Similarly sized sets followed, with 14 sets released as of December 2, 2014. The first DVD set, containing 12 episodes, was released on November 22, 2011. OVAs bundled with the special edition of the 26th, 27th, 31st, 35th and 38th volumes of the manga. The Funimation-dubbed episodes aired on the Funimation Channel. In 2011, Funimation licensed the first season for an English-language release in North America. The Southeast Asian network Animax Asia aired part of the series locally in English. In the TV show’s current ending sequence, you can see how she walks from Tenrou Island to Crocus to cheer on. First of all, it was really nice to see this story from Mavis’ perspective. It’s one of the funniest FAIRY TAIL episodes so far, and it made many of my fangirl wishes come true.
The first DVD compilation was released on January 29, 2010, with individual volumes being released monthly. This OVA takes place in the middle of episode 153.
